What Our Client Needed
Magen Meats is the only exclusive kosher butcher shop in the Greater Toronto Area. Magen Meats needed an online shop for clients to easily place orders for delivery or pick-up, promote sales, while tracking and integrating inventory with the store’s POS, adjusting prices for product weight, and connecting orders to drivers for delivery.
Magen Meats had hired a Web Developer to add customizations to a Shopify theme. HS Digital Media was brought in to help align the developer’s tasks with the owner’s vision for the design and function of the site.
What We Did
HS Digital Media helped design the Shopify site with the customer’s experiences in mind, as well as for the staff operating the store’s backend and inventory.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Consulted and advised Theme Developer on UX/UI
- Delegated tasks to custom theme coder to assure consistent branding and design
- Helped integrate Point-of-Sale and delivery apps
- Added sale sections to theme for staff to easily update daily
- Organized inventory in categories for efficient tracking
